About us
"Our intention is to relieve buyers of strategically unimportant tasks so that they can take care of the things that matter." This is what motivated Lutz-Ingo Lengwenings to establish BSM in 1997 - and nothing has changed since then. With the active support of his wife Heidi, he developed BSM into a medium-sized, family-owned company. Today we have a 20-strong team providing personal and individual support to our long-standing customers.
We provide procurement services to companies throughout Europe in all industries - from the food sector to mechanical engineering. The articles we procure include both capital goods and consumables as varied as angle grinders, file folders and forklifts.

Philipp Lengwenings, who is Lutz’s son and successor, as well as a company shareholder, is now working on the next chapters in the company's success story. We have been based at the central Bielefeld location of Lenkwerk City since mid-2018. You’re very welcome to pay us a visit!
Our Philosophy
We regard ourselves as employees of your company and we won’t disappoint your high expectations of us. We work according to the same principles as your purchasing department. You can contact us at any time, we respond quickly if you need something urgently, and we make sure that your procurement is secured.
We act in your interests. You hand over some of your purchasing activities to us – and that requires trust. We repay that trust by performing the work reliably, conscientiously and responsibly.
BSM is never ill, never takes a holiday and never changes jobs. You only pay for our services if you actually use them.
We focus on your requirements. And we know that every company is different. We familiarise ourselves with your business, and yet still work independently.
Purchasing, not selling. We are purchasers, we aren’t selling you anything. Goods are procured on a supplier-neutral basis and on commercial terms.
You benefit from our negotiating expertise. We pass on any savings directly to you and charge a fixed fee with a transparently communicated margin.

Directions
By road
- Motorway exit Bielefeld Ost (A2)
- Exit in the direction of Bielefeld
- At the first set of traffic lights at Möbel Porta, turn right into "Ostring"
- Follow Ostring for about six kilometres
- Immediately after the Shell petrol station (left side of the road), turn left into "Am Stadtholz"
- After 700 metres, you will see the entrance to LENKWERK on the left
- BSM's offices are located in the fourth building on the left
